Can you please put it in like step through step because I already added my number and stuff and I confirmed it but when I get notifications it won't go to my phone? How do I turn it on?

Go to Account Settings and look on the left sidebar. Look for "Notifications Settings", then click "Edit" next to each category and check the boxes under the little phone icon to be notified of that action, then make sure you save your changes.
