I want to temporarily deactivate my facebook account. But when i decide to activate my account again, will I get all the messages and notifications that I missed from when it was deactivated?

You won't get any messages as no one can see your profile when your de-activated - nor the notifications you've 'missed'. - but wait 24hrs to get your account back to normal
