I have done the expected marketing ideas such as local advertising in our traders mag, letter drops which is an ongoing exercise - any ideas would be much appreciated.

Trade shows are an excellent way to promote your business and reach your target audience under one roof. There are some makeup trade shows out there that would allow you to meet and network with other industry professionals. There is a small cost with trade shows, but it will more than pay for itself, as well as help expand your business.

Connect with artists in complimentary fields and create team packages! If you know a photographer, ask him to advertise that any shoots he does can come with professional makeup artistry (yours) for an extra fee (which goes to you). Other complimentary fields:
