Facebook notification help please!!!!?

the other day i commented a friends picture of facebook, and notifications kept popping up so i clicked the x next to the box on the list, now i get no notifications about picture comments and photos im tagged in, does anyone know how to fix this?
it will send me e-mails, just not show up the in the bottom right hand corner where that little sign in the grass is.

that shouldn't have changed you settings, but to sure you can check them yourself!

Up at the top, click on Settings, then Notifications

Go back to the notifications page, and check off the photos box. You'll begin receiving photo notifications again.

At the right bottom hand side, there's your notifications tab.
Click that and choose See All (which is on the right of the pop up tab)
This will take you to a new page where you can choose your notification options.
Make sure Photos is checked off.
It has been turning itself off randomly lately.
