Push messages not working for facebook iphone. Any solutions?

Anyone else have this issue. I know my friend gets facebook messages pushed to her phone with a notification. How come I dont. I have went through ALL the settings and they are all clicked to "push"
I get comments pushed etc...but not messages. This is annoying...I even reset my phone and restored...didnt work. I also deleted the facebook app and reinstalled..didnt work.

If you have FaceBook notifications enabled, FaceBook should push the chosen notification(s) to your iPhone when a notification is generated on FaceBook servers which is sent to your iPhone by the FaceBook servers.

What is the difference between a full restore with iTunes and a wipe and start fresh? There is only one type of restore with iTunes, which is a full restore along with two options - from your iPhone's backup, and as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup. Does this mean you have restored your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup, and as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup?

Have you contacts FaceBook customer or technical support in regards to this problem with your FaceBook account in particular.

Doubtful an iPhone exchange under warranty will resolve this, and for this particular problem only without a hardware problem with your iPhone being identified, Apple has agreed to exchange your iPhone under warranty with no other problem and without Apple determining your iPhone has a hardware problem?
