how do i stop notifications on facebook?

i keep getting notifications when someone looks at my pictures (it says "a pictuer of you"). i have a ton of pictures 'of me' which are pictures of dogs and cats! i don't want to know if someone has looked at them because there are too many. how do i stop these notifications? please give details. thank you.

I don't know if you can. I just made a folder under Yahoo mail it they automatically go in there.

If your using hotmail I think you can block all messages from a certain email address if not I don't know

In Facebook:
Account => Account Settings => Notifications, then uncheck what you don't want to be notified about
