How can I stop notifications about quizzes on Facebook?

I am always getting notifications about quizzes on facebook and i want them to stop! help!!

1. On the upper right side of the screen, to the right of your name, click on "settings."

2. To the right of "networks," click on "notifications."

3. Check "off" for what you don't want notifications for.

next to the notification there is usually an X on the top right corner, click it. A pop up will come up asking if you want to stop recieving notifications from this application or not, click yes

When they pop up under 'Requests' (on the upper right hand side) click the notification. It should bring you to a page where it lists all requests and invitations.
Once you're there, just beneath the request in very small blue print it will say 'Block This Application'. Click that, than click 'Block' on the following pop up.

I dont know but I DELETED my account and everything on my page and friends but when I went to reacctivate the account those darn quiz notifications were coming up like wtf
