what message do i send and to which number so that i can receive messages to my phone when i get notifications on facebook?

I have an iPod Touch, just download it and logg in. also, get Facebook to send emails to you're phone when you get a notification, it can be done on your account settings.

setup facebook mobile:

http://www.facebook.com/mobile/ (you can do this from your computer.. & not only can you get notifications sent to your phone, but you can update your status and send pics to facebook via text.. it will give you instructions on how to do so after you setup fb mobile)

after you've done that, you can elect which notifications you want sent to your cell via sms by following this link:

http://www.facebook.com/editaccount.php?notifications (just tick the boxes under the sms column that you want sent to your phone)
