well im new to the site and really dont get how to use it and at the start where it said follow theese people all of them looked boring like i didnt know any of them ! how do tyou search foe people you wanna folow?

The @ sign basically is a direction, and is always followed by a username, for instance @icantinternet . By doing this, the tweet is addressed to this person. It can also be used as a reply. Beware, it is not the same as a DM, since @messages can be read by anyone else, and DM's cannot.
