No sound for my notification posts for Facebook !?
I have checked my sound settings and everything is on! What can I do to get the sound back?

Facebook doesn't have notification sounds except for the message notifications which can be controlled from Chat window>>Gear Icon>>Chat Sounds.

Maybe it is your browser.

Have you tried closing it and reopening it? This happens to me sometimes when the audio in the browser goes off.
