Does it cost money for facebook to send stuff to you phone?
all of my friends say that facebook can send your phone notifications for free. i just want to make sure this is true?
i have fifteen hundred free texts a month, does it use these? or do they still charge extra? Ads |

Partially True. Facebook doesn't charge for it. However, your cell company (Verizon, AT&T, etc) may charge for the text message you get from them.

This is true.. provided that you have an unlimited texting plan on your cell phone. If you don't, you will be charged one text every time you get a facebook update. In your case, every time facebook sends your phone an update, you would use one of your 1500 texts, but there wouldn't be any extra fees (as long as you don't go over your 1500, that is).
