How do you get the blue "f" facebook notification on your blackberry?

I just received a new (replacement) blackberry curve and when I downloaded facebook it no longer provided this type of notification when people comment on my wall, message me, etc. Any idea how to get it back? Thanks.

i have the same exact problem. i called my cell phone provider today and they told me that if you don't have the email feature on your blackberry, then you can't get notifications. which to me makes no sense because email shouldn't have anything to do with the notifications. i don't have email on my BB, and when i first got it and installed facebook on it, i got all the notifications perfectly fine, so clearly that's not the issue. but maybe it is.
