why I can't get Facebook notifications in my blackberry?

if I open my facebook on my blackberry, I don't get any notifications. Just messages. and if I open my facebook with my laptop, I get many notifications. what should I do so I can get facebook notifications in my blackberry?

click on ACCOUNT on upper right hand corner


then click on ACCOUNT SETTINGS

Next click on the tab that reads NOTIFICATIONS

make sure the SMS box for whatever notification u want to be able to receive is checked
