when you post something of facebook and your friends get notifications is that called spamming?

i have a page,i post vids and free downloads on it and a friend asked me to stop spam min him! i still dont know why because i posted on my own page which has many members on.he said that he was receiving notification of the vid's and otherstuff i had posted and said that was spamming,is he right?

No it's not spamming. If he doesn't like the content you put up, he can just unfriend you. It's only spamming if you're posting it to their walls.
