How do you quit getting messages on mail from facebook?

Okay when i get on my email all of my notifications from facebook are on their how do u takee it off~~

mouse over settings on the top toolbar of the screen, when the drop down menu comes up, click on account settings, then notifications, it brings up a list of items and boxes. just check or uncheck the ones you do and don't want to get emails for

roll over settings on the top right of the page, then that box will appear, click on application settings, when the page opens go to notifications and unclick al the little check boxes
