Deleting facebook notifications from my Blackberry?

why can't i delete my facebook notifications from my messages? I can delete all other messages except these. When I click delete nothing happens

I have exactly the same problem, the only solution is to check all notifcations as soon as you get them,that way they don't get stuck. But now they are stuck there the only thing you can do is sign out whenever your not using it. Signing it removes the notifcations for facebook while your not signed in, however will re-appear when you sign in again. So sign out when you're not using it

If you click on every notification twice, they will disappear. Sometimes, depending on the facebook version, we can read the messages without really having to open them that's why the notifications stay there. You have to go to the message and click on it. make sure you've really opened it.

I also tried clicking twice etc as you suggested Islandgirl ,but unfortunately that didn't work. Where do you find out which version you have and how do you get it to the version that deletes?
