How do you get Facebook notifications to pop up on iPod lock screen?

I have a 2nd generation iPod with the latest version of Facebook installed. I was just wondering how you get that little think to pop up on your screen when it's locked/asleep saying "So and so commented on your status" or whatever.

You have to turn on push notifications on Facebook. To do this, go to Settings > Facebook > Push Notifications. From there, you can choose which items you can get notified about. Hope this helped!
