How can you prevent people from sending you game requests on Facebook? Like Cityville?

My Mum's cousin is a dole-bludger and he spends all his time and money playing games on Facebook like Cityville and Farmville. Every time I log on, I'll have all these notifications and they'll all be telling me that he is sending me a request for whatever game. I ignore them, but I'm sick of them blocking up my feed.

Is there a way that I can change my settings so that I DON'T get these annoying notifications?

idk i always get those and i just tell them to not send me those anymore

I think the most effective and most diplomatic way for you to make him not send you that "request" is by telling him.You can say "Hey,sorry but I'm not playing Farmville and Cityville anymore so don't send me those request anymore.".

simple: on wall posts, click remove post, but click "Block Farmville, etc"
for games: see above

It will hide all future items from the games you decide to block.
