Can someone add you as a close friend on facebook and when they put a status you see it?

Idk this is weird but.
One of my friends not one on my close friends i have on facebook, posted up a status on facebook saying like for a confession. In the notification it had the close friend things underneath. Im not sure i she like tagged me in it or what?

Please help, also she posted like 4 other statuses and i never got any notifications. Please help me ill give you full points.

She may not be on your close friends but you may be on her close friends. Its common for things like this to happen so don't worry. If you're still unsure just ask her when you next see her.

You probably accidentally set her as a close friend. I personally think that the close friend thing is stupid and it's pretty annoying to have to take someone off.

If she did get added to your close friend list here is how to remove her:
Go to the close friends list on the left toolbar
Click "See All" on the top right (should have peoples pictures near it)
Find her name
Click the X at the top right of her name

On my facebook there is a group called close friends and when I make a status one of my options of people who can see it is this close friends group. To be honest I have absolutely no idea who is in my group. I haven't put anyone in the group so chances are it is just random people and not people that I am actually good friends with in person. I am sure it is the same for everyone else too. She probably she clicked the wrong button or something.
