Why are the times an hour off on my firefox web browser?

Every time i get a brand new email through gmail or a new notification on facebook, firefox always claims its an hour old. How do i fix this? The time on my computer (windows 7) in the bottom right corner displays the correct time, but the time stamps are an hour off.

There is usually a Time Zone setting in your account settings. Make sure you are set to the correct time zone.
