Will I get charged if I sign up for mobile notifications on Facebook?

I went to Account settings, then i chose the Mobile option, and it said that I could receive notifications, messages, and friend requests through texts. If I do not have a data plan or a smart phone, so will I be charged extra for these text notifications if I sign up for them?

Dont worry, you won't be charged. Facebook texts service is fully free. I also use this service. It is very useful...

Not unless you have to pay for your texts. If you get free or unlimited texts your fine

No you won't you only have to pay standard text messaging charges so if you have unlimited text you're good
