How do you receive less notifications about certain people's notifications of facebook?

I once changed it so one certain person had a "high notification notice," and i was able to see more of their notifications. however, i don't want to see that much information on that person anymore.. sry if this is confusing, but i would really appreciate it if you could help me! thanks!

go to your homepage

go to what ever you dont or want more of

glide over it

"edit" should appear at the top right corner of box

click it

select what you want

On the home page (after logging in) , click "Options for News Feed" on the bottom (ie. http://www.facebook.com/feed_prefs.php ).

In the text boxes in the bottom portion of the page, you can specify the friends you want to receive more stories from, as well as less.
