On Facebook ,what is the point in them telling me i have messaeges and notifications when i don't?
I check my email and i get these messages telling me "you got a new message on Facebook from Brandy!" ,and i check my Facebook account and there are no messages.

What is the point in these bogus Facebook notifications?

you are getting these messages in your email? they might not be coming from facebook, some one might be trying to phish your password

another possibility is that this "brandy" person is not on your friends list, in which case the message would appear in your "other messages" folder, not your main inbox
