Is it possible for you to get a notification on facebook when a certain person logs on?
for example, if my best friend were to log on is there a way i could get a notification saying so and so logged on?

If you have a smartphone there are some apps that will allow you to facebook chat with people, if that is what you are conserned about. Go!Chat Pro for facebook on my phone let's me chose my favorite contacts and will give my phone a notification if they go online/offline!
