How do you get notified if someone likes your post if you are not in the app but you are logged into the app?

Go to settings, then notifications, and go to facebook. From there you can choose banners or alerts. Alert basically appear in the middle of your screen and usually pause whatever you're doing. Banners appear on the top of your screen and don't pause whatever you're doing. You can check your banners by sliding your finger from the top of the screen downwards. Banners are only available in iOS software 5 and higher.
