Me And My "Special Friend" (Ex) Cant seem to get out of this awkward space, WHY?

For months This guy and I have been keeping each other company, No sex since we've started speaking again which was in April. I Dated him from November Until January, and we stopped speaking from February Until April.We agreed to be friends since then but we've had 2 run-ins where we've kissed and touched, but haven't went all the way. We talk about the fun things we did while we dated, and everything under the sun. He always said he's never met someone like me before, and that partially is the reason why I Dont want to end our friendship. The reason i'm considering ending it is because I think i'm starting to have feelings for him again and Im not exactly sure how he's feeling, but I doubt its exactly how i'm feeling. Usually we don't go for about more than 2 or 3 days without seeing each other. So yesterday made about a week, He wrote me on FB Just saying "Wassup" and we chatted and I told him i was bored, He said "How can I help you with that shorty" We laughed about me calling him Lil Daddy, and he wanted to be called "Big Daddy" I told him I wanted him to spend the night tonight, because I didn't want to sleep alone, So he came over. ...... Cute, right? NO, We hung out and laughed all night then when it was time to go to sleep he slept at the foot of the bed! If I said I Didn't want to sleep alone, you sleep at the foot of the bed? Strike 1, The Next day he leaves his DM's open on twitter and I see him talking to a boy he use to screw from like January talking about meeting up, So i know what that meant, which is when we stopped dating (the way he went about that was complete Bitch like) mind you. Im ready to just move on, Without him in my space or any of that. I Don't know if we should remain friends, Do you guys think i should tell him exactly how i feel and then end the friendship? Or his he waiting for me to make a move? I Need you guys adive
